From the first time I heard Bing's Eulogy by a priest at at
St. Patrick's Cathederal I was touched by the simplicity and the
depth of the words spoken on that day. I have attached a copy of
that eulogy.

Eulogy for Harry Lillis Crosby
He has carved out a special place in the hearts of Americans.
He has left us so much to remember.
His engaging smile and the warmth of his personality;
The amiable nonchalance of his style as an entertainer;
His success as a flawless interpreter of America's mood in song.
These are the things that so many of us will remember.
They made Harry Lillis Crosby
an unforgettable figure
in the history of American entertainment.
our friend Father O'Malley
has gone home to God.
May he rest in peace
as we attempt to keep his music alive.
